Charles “Chuck” Clifford Larson went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 24, 2020, in Kansas City, MO.
Chuck was born to his loving parents, Clifford and Maretta Larson on March 4, 1952 in Iola, WI. Chuck was a self-employed taxidermist. He enjoyed teaching/sharing the sport of archery. His favorite hobby was billiards (he loved this game and his pool buddies) and he also enjoyed playing harmonica and his native flutes. Before coming to K.C., Chuck loved to hunt and fish. He was fond of painting, woodworking, and wood carving, and was a problem solver and creative with whatever his hands touched. Chuck loved our country, and was a true Patriot.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Cindi Larson and stepson, Jeremiah Laurent; four children: Jessica (Bryan) Schmidt; Amanda, Heidi and Becky Larson and special mother-in-law, Lorraine Clappes; three grandchildren: Aubree, Autumn and Archer Schmidt; brothers, Mark and James Larson. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Maretta Larson; and also Cynthia Clappes Larson, the mother of Amanda, Heidi and Becky.
A funeral service for Chuck will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at St. John Lutheran Church in Baldwin’s Mill (N3882 County Road KK, Weyauwega) with Pastor Mark Sabin officiating. Visitation for family/friends will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:30 until the time of the service at 12:00 noon. Parking lot radio access (101.7 FM) will be available should anyone want to listen to the service. Also, Chuck’s service will be recorded and a link placed on his obituary page on our website at www.clinehansondahlkefuneralhomes.com. for those unable to attend. Lunch will be provided at the church immediately afterwards. Family and friends will meet at the Farmington Lutheran Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. for graveside prayers.
Chuck loved the Lord and was well liked by others. Chuck was extremely thankful for all the prayers and kind words in his final days. He will be greatly missed by all the family and friends who knew and loved him.
