Clintonville boys win in Waupaca

Clintonville handed Waupaca a 61-41 defeat Jan. 12 in a North Eastern Conference boys’ basketball game.

The Truckers led 25-15 at halftime and outscored Waupaca 36-26 in the second half.

Cameron Mauel and Brayden Branstrom led Clintonville with 18 and 13 points, respectively, while Waupaca’s Hunter Marcom led all scorers with 21.

Both teams have North Eastern games scheduled for Friday, Jan. 22. Clintonville will host Little Chute and Waupaca will head to Marinette. Tipoff for both games is set for 7 p.m.
