Eight candidates for three seats

Clintonville School Board race needs primary

By Bert Lehman

Eight candidates have filed paperwork to run for three seats on the Clintonville School Board.

The seats up for election in the spring are currently held by Larry Czarnecki, Ben Huber and Laurie Vollrath.

All three have filed papers to seek re-election.

The five additional candidates vying for the seats include Glen Drew Lundt, Tricia Rose, Jason Moder, Les Jepson and Chadwick Dobbe.

Because of the number of candidates running, a primary election will need to be held on Feb. 16, to reduce the number of candidates from eight to six.

The six candidates who receive the most votes in the primary will face off in the April 6 election to fill the three seats.
