Michael J Hickey Jr., Weyauwega, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021.
He was born December 15, 1999 in Sierra Vista, Arizona, the son of Michael John Hickey and Brenda Jean (Tessen) Hickey. Michael was a 2018 graduate of Weyauwega-Fremont High School. He was a full-time employee of Agropur in Weyauwega since shortly after graduation. Michael loved his family and friends. He loved spending time with them and always having fun. What a sense of humor he had! He enjoyed everything that had to do with being outdoors; time in the woods, on the lake or a snow hill was where he felt most in his element. He also loved enhancing, upgrading, and racing his RC cars. His most loved project was his Ford Focus ST. He put a lot of his time into making it just the way he wanted. He was an amazing artist, his drawings and sculptures are breath-taking.
He is survived by his mother, Brenda (Tessen) Hickey, his father, Michael (Christine) Hickey, sister Kaitlyn Hickey, brother Padriac Hickey and step-brothers Trevor Wetzel, Tyler Wetzel and Wyatt Wetzel. He is also survived by grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, many friends and his beloved kitty cat, Doug.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Michael on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Life Celebration Center in Weyauwega from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral & Cremation Care of Weyauwega is assisting the family.
