Time to return to in-person meetings

I think that it is time for the Clintonville Council meetings to be held in person.

Some of the community meetings have been held in person but the council continues to have all virtual meetings. How come it is OK for some to be held in person but not the council meetings?

The school board has met in person since the beginning of the year.

The city council agenda requires citizen comments to be received 24 hours in advance of the meeting. I was told this was a policy, but no one will share a copy of that policy. I think that refusing to read comments made by citizens is a violation of our First Amendment rights.

If meetings were being held in person we would just have to show up at the time of the meeting and speak. So why now do they need 24 hours notice?

There are some very pressing issues regarding the city coming up and I think that the city council should be in front of our citizens.
