An early-season injury kept Parker Prahl out of the Iola-Scandinavia boys’ basketball team’s lineup.

He’s making up for missed time, as the junior scored 30 points Feb. 2 in the Thunderbirds’ Central Wisconsin Conference-East win over Weyauwega-Fremont.

Twenty-three of those points came in the first half, as the T-Birds took a 42-13 lead into the locker room at halftime.

The T-Birds led by as many as 32 points in the second half and Weyauwega-Fremont never got closer than 20 points until the final minute.

Prahl was the only Iola-Scandinavia player to finish in double figures.

Hayden Orr led Weyauwega-Fremont with 11 points.

The two teams are scheduled to face each other again at 7:15 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, in Weyauwega.
