Ardys Jean Faulks, 89, Weyauwega, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, at her home.

Ardys was born July 25, 1931 in the Township of Caledonia, daughter of the late John and Lucille (Spiegelberg) Reinert, and step-father Clarence Schuelke. On April 29, 1950, she married the love of her life, Sydney Faulks at Zion Lutheran Church in Readfield, Wis. Ardys strongly committed her life to Christ. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Waupaca, Wisconsin. With her husband Syd, she helped found the RCB Chapel in Indio, California. Devotion to her faith, family and friends was known by all. She will always be remembered for her gentle smile, good-hearted spirit and love for everyone around her. Since the passing of her husband, Ardys cherished many loving memories of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cared very much about their welfare, always asking how everyone was doing. Ardys enjoyed gardening, loved feeding birds, and annual fishing trips to Canada. She was a huge sports fan and always watched Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and Wisconsin Badgers games.

She is survived by four children: Randy (Susie) Faulks, Bob (Christine) Faulks, Mike (Sue) Faulks, and Lisa Tolfa; six grandchildren: Jonathan (Crystal) Faulks, Joseph (Lindsay) Faulks, Julia (Curtis) Verhagen, Tyler Faulks, Cassie Faulks, and Laura (Matt) Peterson; a sister-in-law, Gladys Faulks. She is further survived by eight great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other friends and relatives. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dolores Radtke.

A private family service will be held for Ardys at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Life Celebration Center of Weyauwega with Rev. Andy Behrendt officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega. The funeral for Ardys will be recorded and a link placed on her obituary page at www.clinehansondahlkefuneralhomes.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to: Ardys Faulks Memorial Fund c/o Cline-Hanson-Dahlke, P.O. Box 140, Weyauwega, WI 54983.

The family would like to thank the local emergency personnel for the compassionate care they showed during Ardys’ time of need.
