Jechorek, Roger A.

Roger A. Jechorek, age 58, of New London passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at his home.

Roger Anthony Jechorek was born on September 24, 1962 in Kenosha to Thomas and Darlene (Lindow) Jechorek. He grew up in the Kenosha area and graduated from Reuther Central High School in 1980. Roger moved to Clintonville where he met Lisa Shepard. The couple shared many good years together and were blessed with two incredible children. He worked for a number of years at LaCrosse Shoe Factory in Clintonville, until they closed in 2000. Then Roger worked for close to 10 years as a meat cutter at Hillshire Farms in New London. Currently, he was employed at Steel King Industries in New London as a welding supervisor for the past seven years. In his early days, Roger liked playing pool with several local tavern leagues, going deer hunting and fishing; and he even made his own fishing lures and jigs. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and fishing his entire life. Roger especially loved spending time with his family. He will be remembered most as a great son and brother, a wonderful father, and a proud grandfather.

Survivors include two children, Kyle (fiancée Angelica) Jechorek of Clintonville and Brianna (significant other Taylor) Jechorek of Shawano; two granddaughters, Sophia and Emma; and his parents, Thomas and Darlene Jechorek of Waterford. There are two siblings, Kathy Karls and Al Jechorek, both of Kenosha. He is further survived by a friend, Lisa (Kevin) Schreiber of Clintonville; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and lots of longtime friends and fishing buddies from New London. Roger was preceded in death by an uncle, John Jechorek and a brother-in-law, Steve Karls.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville; Fr. Timothy Shillcox, O. Praem will officiate. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Please go to www.beil-didier.com to sign the online guestbook or to send a card to the family.

We wish to especially thank Rolf for watching out for and often being there for our Dad.
