Jeremy Lawrence Barth, age 44, passed away on March 12, 2021, at his residence in New London.
He was born August 20, 1976, the son of Brenda Sperger and the late Larry Barth Jr. In 1987, Jeremy moved to New London with his mother Brenda and stepfather Mike Sperger and they welcomed his sister Jalaine. He graduated from New London High School in 1994, the same year his brother, Eric, was born. After high school, he followed his passion by obtaining a degree in visual arts. He worked with public television, independent filmmaking, photography, and the music industry. Jeremy and his high school sweetheart celebrated the birth of their beautiful daughter, Brianna, in 2009. Jeremy was very friendly and loved to socialize. He made friends wherever he went. He was quite a loving son; he had a special bond with his mother. From an early age, he impressed everyone with his creativity – making home movies, mixing music, drawing, and craftsmanship. He had a great love for cult classic movies of the 80s and collected movie memorabilia.
Jeremy is survived by his daughter Brianna (age 11), his mother Brenda and stepfather Mike of New London, sister Jalaine and brother Eric (his wife Marissa), both of Appleton, along with many friends and extended family.
A private memorial service for friends and family will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for those wishing to contribute. Cline-Hanson Funeral Home in New London is serving the family.
