Schamber, James L. Jr.

James L. Schamber Jr., passed away peacefully at home on March 15 after a long courageous battle with cancer.

James was born on August 12th, 1963 in Beloit, WI to James Schamber Sr. and carol Cunningham (Schamber) James went to school in Beloit and Waupaca and received his HSED with honors.

He has lived in Wisconsin, Iowa and South Dakota. He had a wondering soul.

James worked maintenance in factories most of his life or at places he could be a part of building.

He loved to travel, ride motorcycles, going to concerts and of course the Green Bay Packers, building stuff with his grandson Aaden, bonfires and time with his grandkids and family.

He married Georgiana who has been by his side since they met, who shared many adventures and made many memories.

He is survived by his wife Georgiana, his daughters: Kelly and Jessica Kroening of West Bend and his son Dillon Schamber of Rock Valley Iowa, his step-children Erica Giannoni (Vita) of Austin TX and Gabriel Roalsiaes of Waco, TX. His sister Patti (Al) Manthly, Brothers Steve (Cheryl) and Don (Bunnie) many nieces, nephew, great nieces, great nephews, his grandkids, who he adored: Keyanna (his princess), Aaden (his partner in building and fishing and was by his side throughout his illness), Kiptyn, Joseph, Gavin, Addie, Oaklinn, Dakota, Jeffery, Kaiser and John.

James is prceeded in death by his parents, James Schamber Sr, Carol Cunnhingham, his sister Mona Merriman, both sets of grandparents and George Solomon, his father-in-law who loved him as his own son. James is deeply missed.

Celebration of James’s life will be April 24th at 1pm at First Lutheran church in Ogdensburg, WI. Services by Pastor Mary Bope with a luncheon to follow at church and a bon-fire later as his home.

His wife would like to thank Patti Manthey, Monica Brooke, Don Schamber and his grandson for never leaving his side and to Ministry Hospice, especially Katie for for all the care and comfort. The ladies at Marshfield Cancer Center who cared so much for Jim and especially Sara Mutslinger who was with Jim since the beginning of his illness.
