Incident occurred Monday in St. Lawrence
A 2-year-old boy was killed in a farming accident around 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 5, in the town of St. Lawrence.
Investigators determined the boy was riding in a skid steer, fell forward and was briefly pinned between the bucket and the support arm.
ThedaStar flew the child to ThedaCare Medical Center in Neenah.
He was later transferred to Children’s Hospital of Milwaukee, where he died.
The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, Iola Area Ambulance, Ogdensburg/St. Lawrence Area First Responders, Gold Cross Ambulance, ThedaStar Air Medical and Ogdenburg/St. Lawrence Fire Department responded.
No names have been released at this time.
