Lettie Vierck will present “Prevalent Parasites in the Wisconsin Wolf Population” at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 12.

Hosted by Winchester Academy, this program will be presented virtually.

Vierck is a biology student at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

She gathered more than 100 specimens to record the different parasites and stages of development in the life cycle.

Vierck will discuss how her research parasites provide pertinent clues to what is happening to the wolf and its surrounding environment.

The broadcast can be heard on WILW 96.3 FM or viewed on WIN-TV, Facebook Live or YouTube.
