Incident reported in Farmington
A man wearing a ski mask attempted to abduct a 9-year-old girl around 3:45 p.m. Friday, April 16, on Lamplighter Lane in the town of Farmington.
According to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, when the girl returned home on a school bus, she encountered the man in her driveway.
She told investigators that he came out from behind some bushes, grabbed her wrist and walked her to a wooded area.
The man “got spooked and took off running,” according to a press release.
The girl ran back to her house.
The suspect is described as approximately 5 foot 9 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds.
He was wearing black jeans, black shoes, a thin black jacket and a black ski mask.
