Roe arrested for meth

Waupaca woman also faces bail jumping charges

Alison C. Roe, 49, Waupaca, is charged with two counts of felony bail jumping, felony possession of methamphetamine as a repeat offender and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

At 9:30 a.m. Sunday, April 11, Waupaca Police Officer Thomas Grant began surveillance of the Econolodge Motel on West Fulton Street.

The previous night, officers had responded to a drug overdose at the motel.

During his surveillance, Grant observed Roe leave the motel and walk toward the BP station.

Grant advised Officer Matthew Batte to take Roe into custody.

At the police station, Batte reported finding a plastic gem bag with crystal meth and a used syringe in Roe’s purse.

Roe is currently in custody on a $2,000 cash bond.

On Sept. 21, 2020, Roe was charged with felony bail jumping and misdemeanor theft and released on a $1,000 signature bond.

On Sept. 3, 2020, Roe was convicted of two counts of felony bail jumping and two counts of misdemeanor theft. Seven counts of misdemeanor theft and two more counts of felony bail jumping were dismissed but read into the court record.

Judge Raymond Huber placed Roe on three years of probation, stayed 120 days in jail, and ordered her to pay $2,340 in restitution and court costs.

On Dec. 18, 2019, Roe was charged with felony bail jumping and possession of a controlled substance. She was released from custody after posting a $250 cash bond.

On Oct. 21, 2019, Roe was charged with felony bail jumping and retail theft. She was released from custody on a $2,000 signature bond.
