Manser, Germaine “Gerrie” (Sazama)

Germaine “Gerrie” Manser, (Sazama), age 96, of Clintonville passed away peacefully on April 29, 2021 at Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center, Clintonville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Helen Sazama and her dear husband, Raymond. She is survived by her sister Wiladean Ihrig, Port Washington, NY; her brother Stanley Sazama (Mary) of St. Paul, MN; nieces, nephews, other relatives and numerous friends.

Gerrie spent her life in or near Clintonville and worked at the FWD Corporation and the Clintonville Community Hospital. She retired in 1995. A longtime member of St. Rose Catholic Church, she actively served on countless committees, including the knitting/crocheting group and was the queen of deviled eggs at funeral luncheons. Gerrie was an avid reader, loved to crochet, enjoyed her casino trips and dining out. Gerrie spent the last nine years at Greentree in Clintonville where she tirelessly walked the halls with a joyful spirit and a smile for everyone. We are grateful for the wonderful care she has received at Greentree for years and to Compassus Hospice for the care they provided this last week. A very special thank you and a hug to Sydney at Greentree for her kindness, friendship and loving care for Gerrie.
