Virginia M. Morgan, age 68, of Scandinavia, WI passed away after a short, courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 in Waupaca, WI.
She was born November 19, 1952 in Waupaca, WI; daughter of Glenn and Bertha (Schiesser) Beyersdorf. On January 15, 1972, she married Everett L. Morgan in Waupaca. Virginia enjoyed walking, gardening, and volunteering for many organizations including the Iola Car Show, Scandinavia Corn Roast, and CAP Services. In their retirement, Virginia and Everett enjoyed traveling, a trip to Scotland in 2019 with family was a definite highlight. She loved to spend time with her family on the Chain O’Lakes, boating and swimming with family dogs. Virginia will be deeply missed by all of her loving family and many friends.
Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Everett Morgan; her son, Keith (Marnie) Morgan; three granddaughters, Kali Morgan, Nicole “Nikki” Cychosz, and Jena (fiancé, Ron) Cychosz; one great-grandson, Eli Juneau; three brothers, Jerry (Pam) Beyersdorf, Ron (Judy) Beyersdorf, and George (Lavonne) Beyersdorf; her mother-in-law, Constance “Connie” Morgan; two sisters-in-law, Darlene Beyersdorf and Beverly (Daniel) Kealiher; a brother-in-law, Raymond (Nancy) Morgan; three very dear friends, Audrey, Barb, and Kathy. There are many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends that will miss her smile (and baked goodies). She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Bertha Beyersdorf; brother, Duane Beyersdorf; father-in-law, Garth Morgan; and a dear friend, Colleen Ridge.
A Funeral Service will be on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst, WI. Pastor Bob Adams will officiate. A visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Amherst following the service on Saturday. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements.
