Brenda Sue Wright, age 57, New London, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, unexpectedly following complications from a fall at her home, surrounded by her loving family as she donated her organs to help others.
She was born on October 29, 1963, in Wycoff, Minnesota, the daughter of Richard and Bonnie (Thompson) Ferguson. Brenda was united in marriage to Tim Wright in 2001. Throughout her career, she held multiple positions in the medical field and loved helping people. Her last job was at Tractor-Supply in New London. Brenda loved beaches, boating, being in the sun, but most of all being a grandmother.
She is survived by her husband Tim; mother Bonnie Ferguson, Clearwater, FL; children: David (Hailey) Wright, McFarland; Katie Jo (Cody) Thompson, New London; Matthew (Stephanie) Ott, Neenah; Nicholas Ott (Megan), Stevens Point; grandchildren, Olive, Brooklyn, Brennan and Colten; extended family members, Bill and Heather Leaverton, Sherwood; siblings, Mike (Kay) Ferguson, Hustisford, Lana (Dave) Schuster, and Christine (Jeff) Collar, both of New London. Brenda is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her father Richard preceded her in death.
Brenda’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah for all of their care and concern for her during this difficult time.
