Craig Michael O’Leary, 65, died Friday, May 21, 2021, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah.
He was born February 16, 1956, in Waukesha, WI. Craig spent his early years in Muskego. When the family relocated to Manawa, Craig attended St. Paul Lutheran Grade School and graduated from Little Wolf High School in 1974. Craig was a talented mechanic who earned a degree as a certified auto mechanic from Fox Valley Technical College and he also enjoyed airplanes and aeronautics, a love he shared with his dad, Don O’Leary. He graduated from Gateway Technical College with a degree in airframe and power plant mechanics. Craig was a member of the EAA for many years and some of his happiest moments were spent volunteering at the EAA museum and air shows in Oshkosh.
Craig is survived by his longtime loving companion Linda Kanaman, as well as sisters, Kathy Mattern and Sheila Crouchley and brothers, Dennis, Kevin, and Brian. He is further survived by other special family members, and friends who will remember Craig fondly. Craig is preceded in death by his parents, Don and LaVerne O’Leary.
At Craig’s request, there will be no visitation and services will be private. Following cremation, Craig will be laid to rest at St Patrick’s Cemetery in Lanark near his great-grandfather Moses Leary. Online Condolences may be shared by visiting www.clinehansonfuneralhome.com
