Culver’s devotes day to Rotary

Culver’s hosts Clintonville Rotary June 10

Culver’s of Clintonville will donate 10% of all sales made from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, June 10, to the Clintonville Rotary Club.

According to owners, Lori and Joe Wakefield, this has been an ongoing program of giving back that they developed at their Merrill Culver’s Restaurant and they now extend t to their Clintonville.

The Share Day events were put on hold in 2020 due to the pandemic but now the Wakefields said that they plan to schedule the one-day events for several other Clintonville area charitable organizations.

Rotarians will be on hand to answer questions about the club and to show their appreciation to folks supporting their mission.

Proceeds received by the Rotary Club will go to their scholarship program, which benefits recipients who are graduating from Marion and Clintonville High School.

The Clintonville Rotary Club is in its 97th year of service to the community with it being established in 1924.

Along with their regular menu, Culver’s will also be offering fresh baked goods for sale and the frozen custard flavor of the day will be salted caramel pecan pie.
