Jerry D. Taber, age 84 of Waupaca, WI passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at ThedaCare in Waupaca.
He was born on March 28, 1937, son of the late David and Beatrice (Minton) Taber. He married Janet Jensen on April 21, 1957 in Weyauwega, WI. Jerry was a member of the WAYHA and Walleye for Kids. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and was the first coach for the Waupaca High School Hockey Team.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Janet Taber of Waupaca; children: Mark (Cheryl) Taber of Waupaca, Sarah (William) Vogt of Waupaca, Tim (Jennifer) Taber of Fremont, Pete (Carrie) Taber of Waupaca; grandchildren: Nicholas (Sonja Dunham-Zivkovich) Tester, Lolanda Taber, Miranda (Dan) Johnson, Paige (Jordan Wilkenson) Taber, Katherine (Joe) Bruesewitz, Zachary (Melissa) Ladubec, Margaret Vogt, William (Abbie Wigglesworth) Vogt, Evan Taber, Sidney Taber; five great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas Taber; sister, Deborah Rasmussen, and an Infant son.
