Clintonville event put on hold this summer

The Clintonville Fireman’s Festival was put on hold this summer.

The Clintonville Fireman’s Association announced its decision to cancel the event this year on its Facebook page.

“Please understand this does not mean we will not be holding a festival like event in future years, this is simply a short-term decision that will hopefully allow long-term success for our events moving forward,” the association posted.

Since the first festival in 1979, the annual event has featured a fish fry, parade, live music, games and activities for children.
