‘Wisconsin Lighthouses’

Winchester Academy presents virtual program

Barb and Ken Wardius will present “Wisconsin Lighthouses” at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 19.

Hosted by Winchester Academy, this virtual program will be broadcast on WILW 96.3 FM or can be viewed on WIN-TV, Facebook Live or YouTube. Viewers can visit www.winchesterwaupaca.org for a hotlink to the program.

Barb and Ken Wardius, authors and photographers of the book “Wisconsin Lighthouses – A Photographic and Historical Guide,” will show slides and discuss highlights of Wisconsin’s historical beacons.

The presentation covers one third of the lights in the state, including Cana Island Lighthouse, Wisconsin Point Light, Sand Island Light, Rockwell Lighthouse, Rawley Point and Wind Point.

The program is co-sponsored by Winchester Academy and the Waupaca Historical Society.
