Robert A. Morris, age 75, of Waupaca, passed away unexpectedly following a massive stroke on Wednesday, July 21, 2021.
He was born on June 5, 1946 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Allen and Irene (Lukaszewski) Morris. Following high school, Bob served in the US Army. He went on to become a police officer and after moving to WI worked for 21st Century Genetics and finally the US Postal Service for over 30 years. He married Judy Wojnicki on May 6, 1972, they had two daughters and moved to Weyauwega WI. Following retirement, Bob especially enjoyed his job delivering fire trucks all over the United States and volunteering for Meals on Wheels. He also enjoyed time spent traveling, biking, walking his dog, Buddy, reading, and sampling craft beer.
Robert is survived by his wife of 49 years, Judy; two daughters, Julie (Tim) Timm, Hortonville; Cathie (Greg) Soufal, Green Bay; four grandsons: Carson and Hayden Timm, and Jaxon and Drew Soufal; a sister, Patti (significant other, Myles) Peterson, CA; a sister-in-law, Jackie (Dale) Schaffer, AZ; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn.
