Mary E. Jacobson, age 60 of Embarrass, passed away early Thursday morning, July 29, 2021 at Crossroads Care Center of Weyauwega.
Mary Ellen (Arneson) Jacobson was born October 19, 1960 in Clintonville, WI, daughter to the late Jim and Elaine Arneson. She graduated from Clintonville High School and was later united in marriage to Paul R. Jacobson on July 5, 1986 in Shawano. She spent her entire working career at Pine Manor Health Care (now The Pines Post-Acute & Memory Care); later medically retiring due to chronic arthritis. In her younger and healthier years, she and her husband, Paul, enjoyed riding their Harley, and fishing. As the years went on, the bike was sold and they purchased the ’54 to enjoy.
Mary is survived by: brother, Dave (Marge) Arneson of Madison and their children, Tori (Aaron) Erickson, Marlee (Brent) Jorgensen, and Sam (Dita) Arneson; sister, Kris (Pat) Stichman of Waupaca and their children, Dusty (Calan) Stichman and Cody (Randi) Stichman; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Paul.
As per Mary’s wishes, no formal services are to be held at this time. Memorials in Mary’s name may be directed to The Pines Post-Acute and Memory Care Activities Program, a program close to her heart, 1625 E. Main St. Clintonville, WI 54929.
Mary will forever be remembered as the selfless one, the caregiver. Everyone else’s needs were met before her own. She cared and loved deeply. She will be missed by many, and was very thankful to her nurses and CNAs at Crossroads. She made many friends while living there. It was very obvious how much Mary was loved by them all.
