Cole, Raymond Guy

Raymond Guy Cole, age 70 of Wild Rose, died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, August 1, 2021.

He was born in Appleton, son of the late Blackie and Betty (Baker) Cole. He graduated from Weyauwega-Fremont High School in 1969. Guy proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a highly decorated veteran. He finally received his parade for returning home from Vietnam in 2018 at the EAA on the Old Glory Honor Flight. Guy owned and operated Collectible Cycles in Fremont and then in Waupaca for many years. He enjoyed riding his Harleys, hunting, fishing, fireworks, photography and was an overall avid outdoorsman.

Guy is survived by his wife Tracy; children: Danielle Cole (Josh), Tayler Cole (Katie), Brooke Vasquez (Nito); step-children, Jeremiah Meadows (Shelly), Tia Petit; mother-in-law, Audrie Meadows; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and other relatives and friends. Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Charles, sister Nancy, and his other fallen brothers from war.

Graveside services for Guy will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Central Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in King. For those attending, please meet at the new office at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m., where we will process together to the graveside. Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral and Cremation Care of Weyauwega is serving the family.
