Church collecting relief supplies

Supplies accepted through Aug. 29

A Waupaca church is collecting supplies for Project Afghanistan SIV and Refugee Relief.

Radiant Fellowship of Waupaca is currently collecting supplies for the influx of Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) and refugees coming to Wisconsin.

The church will accept supplies until Sunday, Aug. 29, and Pastor Bob Adams will personally deliver them the following week.

Adams said supplies needed include bar soap, shampoo, feminine and oral hygiene products, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, gallon-sized Ziploc bags and shower scrunchies.

Monetary donations can also be made directly through Lutheran Social Services.

Anyone who does not attend Radiant Fellowship and would like to drop off supplies at the church, located at 420 N. Harrison St., can contact the church at [email protected] or 715-256-7853 to arrange a drop-off time.
