Glennon, William E.

William E. “Bill” Glennon, formerly of White Lake in Weyauwega, Wisconsin departed this life on August 14, 2021 and entered the life everlasting promised by Jesus Christ and is survived by his wife, Georgiana.

Bill and Georgiana purchased their “Dream Home” in 2005 and thoroughly enjoyed living intermittently throughout each year at the lake. Many friendships took place over the years through the White Lake Preservation Association and with lake area neighbors. An especially close relationship developed with Neil and Mary Ann. In addition to always being counted on for a game of dominoes followed by coffee and dessert, the four octogenarians would reminisce and share stories for hours at-a-time. Neil and Mary Ann were the truest of friends in times when help and comfort were needed. Georgie and Mary Ann shared many interests centered around crafts, hobbies and cooking and there wasn’t a project or repair job that Bill and Neil didn’t enjoy working on together. Georgie and Bill were warmly welcomed by parishioners at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church Parish in Weyauwega. Many special friendships were formed with those who attended weekday church services and religious study groups, most especially Lei, Shirley, Betty and Mary. Bill and Georgiana were married after he returned from military service in Korea during the Korean War where he was a proud member of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Their marriage was blessed with five children and later with the birth of 15 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Bill is also survived by a sister, and two sisters-in-law. He was pre-deceased by a younger sister and two younger brothers.

Services were held. Memorials may be made to the White Lake Preservation Association, E6082 South Shore Road, Weyauwega, WI 54983
