Donna Marie Morack (Sawall), age 85 of New London died on August 22, 2021, peacefully at ThedaCare in Neenah.
Donna was in an unfortunate accident, with a semi-truck on Friday the 13th of August of 2021. She was born on October 7, 1935 in the Township of Lebanon, daughter of the late Rosetta and Alvin Sawall. On November 3, 1962, she was united in marriage to Walter E. Morack at Grace Lutheran Church in Sugar Bush. Donna was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hortonville. Donna worked at First State Bank of New London for 30 years.
Donna is survived by her children: John (Cheryl) Morack, New London; Diane Weix (Tom), Appleton; a granddaughter Madeline Weix, Appleton; siblings: Joyce Kroening, Plover, Dave (Linda) Morack of New London, Norb Morack of Hortonville and Carol Ort, Clintonville, Diane Weix (special friend, Tom), a sister-in-law Ann Morack.. She is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many cousins, friends, and other relatives. Donna was preceded in death by her husband Walter; sisters-in-law, Elaine Morack and Mary Morack; brothers-in-law, Alex Kroening, Gerald Ort and Glen Morack and mother and father, Alvin and Rosetta Sawall.
As per Donna’s wishes, a private Christian Funeral will be held for her at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hortonville. Interment will be in the Mosquito Hill Cemetery in the Town of Liberty. The family would like to invite you to a Celebration of Life for Donna on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at The Town Hall in Liberty (County Hwy S) from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. for sharing her memories and joyfulness.
The family would like to thank all who responded to the scene of the accident, trauma team, the ICU care team at ThedaCare in Neenah, as well as the hospice staff and 5th floor care team at ThedaCare Hospital in Neenah for their care and concern of Donna.
