Tapestry of Love and Loss

Wood’s poetry set to music

“Tapestry of Love and Loss” – a selection of poems from Patrick Wood’s book of the same name set to music – is now available on CD at Amazon Music, Spotify, Apple Music and Pandora.

In 2013, Park and Franklin decided to bring 15 of the 21 poems to life via the original compositions of the singer-songwriter duo.

Wood published his collection of poetry in 2012, after a trip to Spain inspired him to revisit poems and previously recorded thoughts. Wood explores the intricacies of the passing of time.

While combing through his own memories, Wood found that those events characterized by strong emotions of love and great loss are the ones that remain after many years.

Park and Franklin is a singer-songwriter duo that performs folk pop, country and indie music. As members of various local bands and music projects including, but not limited to Dub in Public, Omnimusica and Black Fin, they combined their talents in 2013 and began composing and recording together.
