Truckers shut out Mishicot

Clintonville improves to 2-1

Not only did the Clintonville football team open Packerland Conference play with a home win on Parents’ Night, the Truckers did it without giving up any points.
The Truckers improved to 2-1 on the season Sept. 3 with a 26-0 win over Mishicot behind four touchdown passes from Kade Rosenow.
Rosenow hooked up with Brayden Branstrom for a 7-yard score in the first quarter and added a 13-yarder to Branstrom and an 8-yarder to Cole Rosenow in the second quarter to give the Truckers a 20-0 halftime lead.
Rosenow then capped his four-touchdown day with a 24-yarder to Trystan Krueger in the fourth quarter.
Rosenow completed 11 of 20 passes for 207 yards, including seven to Branstrom for 127 yards.
Braiden Behnke led the Truckers’ rushers with 76 yards on 14 carries.
The Truckers outgained the Indians 272-80.
Clintonville will head to Kewaunee Friday, Sept. 10, to face the Storm. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
