Clintonville man in custody

Investigators reported finding digital videos involving child pornography and bestiality after executing a search warrant at a Clintonville home on Sept. 7.

Waupaca County prosecutors charged Cory W. Dudevoire, 31, with eight counts of possession of child pornography and one count of felony bail jumping.

He remains in custody on a $50,000 cash bond.

On Aug. 30, Waupaca County Detective Sgt. Timothy Myers received a cybertip from the state Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force regarding someone uploading suspected child pornography with a mobile app that allows users to share media files such as images and videos.

Internet service providers are required to report media files depicting child pornography to law enforcement.

The app captured the IP address of the user when the media files were uploaded.

Charter provided state investigators with subscriber information on the IP address, which was traced to a home in rural Clintonville.

Myers identified Dudevoire as living there with his girlfriend.

Officers executed a search warrant at his home on Sept. 9 and seized several electronic devices.

According to the criminal complaint, there were videos depicting prepubescent girls, some as young as infants, in various stages of undress.

Some of the videos showed bestiality and children performing sex acts.

At the time of his arrest, Dudevoire was on a $1,500 signature bond for a 2020 Shawano County charge of felony child abuse and disorderly conduct.

If convicted of possession of child porn, Dudevoire faces up to 25 years in prison on each count.
