School board updates covid protocols

When Clintonville students test positive

The Clintonville School Board updated the district’s Close Contact, Contact Tracing and Quarantine Chart when it met Monday, Oct. 11.

Changes to the plan include: close contact tracing will be conducted after a student tests positive, the student’s parents or guardians with close contact will be notified via phone, asymptomatic students will not be required to quarantine, parents who choose to quarantine their children will have exempt absences.

If there is a positive case in the household, the student must provide proof of negative test results days on or after five days.

Without a test, isolation is required for 10 days.

Testing need to be medically administered and/or lab tested. Home testing is not acceptable for a negative test result.

Parents who plan to keep their child quarantined should contact the office so their attendance can be updated.
