Crash on U.S. 10

Driver airlifted to hospital

The Waupaca County Communications Center received multiple 911 calls at approximately 12:20 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, regarding debris on U.S. Highway 10 near Martin Road in the town of Caledonia.

When they arrived at the scene, deputies found that there had been a one-vehicle rollover crash.

The driver had been thrown from the vehicle and was airlifted to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah for treatment of serious injuries.

Deputies determined that the vehicle was eastbound on U.S. 10 when it entered the median, rolled over both westbound lanes and came to rest in the trees north of the highway.

No further information has been released. The crash remains under investigation.
