Joyce A. Jenson, age 75, of Waupaca, WI passed away unexpectedly on Thanksgiving Day in Waupaca.
She was born April 9, 1946 in Waupaca, WI, daughter of Albert and Barbara (Potts) Sayers. Joyce grew up and lived her entire life in the Village of Rural and graduated in 1964 from Waupaca High School. On September 21, 1968, she married Herbert Jenson at Scandinavia Lutheran Church in Scandinavia, WI. Through the years they raised two wonderful daughters, Andrea and Wanda. Joyce will be dearly missed by all of her loving family and many friends.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 53 years, Herbert Jenson of Waupaca; two daughters, Andrea Jenson of Waupaca and Wanda (Greg) Hiltgen of Waupaca; two brothers-in-law, Reuben (Jane) Jenson of Waupaca and Leland Thompson of Waupaca; and also by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Barbara Sayers; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Herbert and Bertha Jenson; three sisters-in-law, Lois Thompson, Jean Oehlke, and Donna Swenson; and two brothers-in-law, Vern Oehlke and James Swenson.
A Memorial Service will be on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI. Pastor Mark Sabin will officiate. A visitation will be held on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Holly Funeral Home. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
