Pigott, Marvin “Marv”

Marvin “Marv” Pigott, age 76 of Manawa, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at ThedaCare Medical Center, Shawano, after a long battle with lung cancer.

Marvin Wayne Pigott was born on December 25, 1944 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to the late Daniel and Violet (Kellison) Pigott. Over the years, Marv lived in Appleton, Fremont, and Manawa. He was employed for a number of years at Kimberly Clark in Neenah. Marv was a true artisan and could skillfully make almost anything with his hands. He took great pride in the things that he created. If he could draw it…he could build it. Marv was an excellent craftsman with wood and had a passion and attention to details. He enjoyed watching old western movies and the Green Bay Packers play. Marv loved listening to his music or “tunes” as he would say. His favorite catch phrase was “Marv is Marv”.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 4th from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at TK’s Bar & Grill, 313 S. Bridge St., Manawa. So please stop in, have a drink, play a tune on the jukebox, and share a story of Marv’s life. Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville, is assisting with the arrangements. Please go to www.beil-didier.com to sign the online guestbook or to send a card.

A special thank you to the nurses and staff on 2nd floor at ThedaCare Medical Center, Shawano, and to ThedaCare Hospice nurse Tammy, for the compassionate and loving care given to Marv.
