Manawa boys knock off Tigerton

The Manawa boys’ basketball team opened its Central Wisconsin Conference-North schedule Dec. 7 with an 88-24 win over Tigerton.
Nathan Gorman’s 11 points helped the Wolves build a 53-14 halftime lead.
Manawa added to its lead with a 35-10 advantage in the second half.
Four players finished in double figures for Manawa. Conner Scheid led the way with 15 points, followed by Colton Prue with 14, Gorman with 13 and Rohan Hass with 10. Zeke Griepentrog led Tigerton with eight points.
The Wolves’ game at Marion originally scheduled for Dec. 10 has been rescheduled for Monday, Dec. 20, in Marion. Manawa will also head to Bowler Thursday, Dec. 16. Tipoff for both games is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
