Sell, James Byron

James Byron Sell, age 64 of New London, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at ThedaCare in Neenah.
Jim was born in Clintonville on February 11, 1957 to Don and Virginia (Breed) Sell. He was united in marriage to Laurie Van Ark on August 4, 1979. Jim worked with his father at Sell’s Salvage for several years and also at Bertrams in Marion. He drove semi for several companies the last years of his life. Jim enjoyed working with car and truck parts, camping with his family and fishing.
Jim is survived by his wife of 42 years, Laurie: sons, Jamie (Jeni) and their children, Adam and Asuna; Jessie (Kelly) and their children, Jase and Remy; daughter, Lacy (Adam) Raisler and their children, MaKieyela, Mallex, MaHayleigha, MaKayna and one on the way in June; his mother, Virginia Sell; father-in-law, Clarence “Butch” Van Ark; siblings, Joe (Tammy) Sell, Jerelyn (Dan) Ruppel, Patty (Kirk) Zimmerman; in-laws, Jeff (Patti) Van Ark, Mary (Tim) Schneiderwendt and Sheri (Brian) Lettau and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Donald; mother-in-law, Judy Van Ark; brothers-in-law, Robbie and Bill Van Ark and sister-in-law, Susan Van Ark. He is further preceded in death by several stillborn grandchildren.
