Carol Trudell, age 91, born on November 14, 1930 in Marshfield, WI died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in Opelousas, LA.
She was widowed in 1953. In 1961 she married Howard Trudell. She was widowed again in 2008. She retired after working years as a medical secretary. She lived many years in Wisconsin, before settling with family in Opelousas, Louisiana. Carol was a longtime member of Victory Church in Waupaca, WI. When she moved to Louisiana she became a member of Faith Christian Worship Center in Eunice, LA, where she happily called herself Grandma Hugger!
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra (Wayne) Sparks, Barbara (Daniel) Shannon; six grandchildren: Christopher (Nicole) Sparks, Catherine (Brian) Brook, Jason Shannon (Luana Raffaeli), Colleen Shannon (Tracy Buttke), Jesse Schultz, Jennifer Schultz (Donna Douglas). She enjoyed lots of great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Carol also has several surviving nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Howard, son Robert Schultz, and daughter Penelope (William) Longworth.
Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday, February 5th, 11:00 a.m. at Faith Christian Worship Center Eunice, LA with Pastor Heather Ardoin officiating; and at Victory Church Waupaca, WI (Summer 2022), dates to follow with Pastor Phillip Thompson officiating.
