Beyer, Leroy Ralph

Leroy Ralph Beyer, age 74, of Manawa, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah.

He was born in New London on April 21, 1947, son of the late Arthur and Edna (Rohde) Beyer. Leroy graduated from Little Wolf High School in 1965. After high school, he moved to Milwaukee where he lived for six years working for Noffke Roofing. He joined the Army National Guard and served for seven years. On October 28, 1967, he was united in marriage to Jane Kosmerchock at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Symco. Leroy started farming in the Town of Little Wolf in 1971, “retiring” in 2011. He served as Sexton of Little Creek Cemetery for over 30 years. He was a lifetime member of FFA Alumni. Leroy enjoyed Friday fish fry’s, hunting, fishing, bowling, the Hodag Festival and listening to Reba. With his gift of gab, he especially enjoyed “Leroying” with the Ranger. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Symco.

He is survived by his wife Jane; children: Matt (Jennie) Beyer, Mark Beyer, Karen (Tyler) Lamkins; grandchildren: Carlene and Brystal Beyer, Elizabeth Lamkins; siblings, Lucy Noffke and Earl Beyer; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Beyer and Muriel Beyer. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Betty (Julian) Jensen; brothers, Bob and Roger Beyer; sister-in-law Mary Ann Beyer; brother-in-law Leonard Noffke.

The memorial service for Leroy will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Symco with Rev. Jeffrey Smiles officiating. Burial will be in Little Creek Cemetery, Town of Little Wolf. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral & Cremation Care of Manawa is serving the family.
