Jorgensen, Wendy M. (Krisel)

Wendy M. (Krisel) Jorgensen, age 60 of Clintonville passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Wendy was born on August 10, 1961 in Highland Park, Illinois, to John and June (Blomquist) Krisel. At the age of seven her family moved to Wisconsin and settled on a farm in Ogdensburg. She graduated from Waupaca High School in 1979. Wendy raised and homeschooled her children, and also babysat neighbor kids. Over the years she worked at various places within the community, one being the Crossings Bar & Supper Club in Weyauwega where she met many friends. Wendy also worked as a customer service representative for 12 years with DirecTV Mid-Wisconsin DBS in Iola. In 2006 she moved to Clintonville and worked for several years in the area, like at the office of All-Ways Accounting. Wendy was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bear Creek. Wendy was united in marriage on August 16, 2008 to Kyle A. Jorgensen and the couple settled on a hobby farm just outside of Clintonville in the Town of Matteson, Waupaca County. They raised yaks for the meat and hides, collected sap and made maple syrup, always had a large vegetable garden and many flower gardens. Wendy was super crafty, whether she was crocheting blankets, working on art and craft projects, or baking. She enjoyed selling her goods at the local farmers’ market, like fresh baked goods, homemade soaps, canned goods, meats and vegetables. Kyle and Wendy traveled and camped frequently together. She loved the scenery and nature. Wendy loved animals and was a caring and nurturing person. She was also compassionate and had a great sense of humor. Wendy loved spending time with her family and friends; and had a gift of bringing people together. She will be remembered most as a loving mother and a proud grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Kyle; five children: Thomas (Samantha) Wilz, Benjamin (Kassandra) Wilz, Alyssa Wilz, Tyler (Andrea) Jorgensen, and Trevor Jorgensen; and four grandchildren: Lyra, Madison, Nora, and Mason. There are three brothers, Bob (Mary) Krisel, Chris (Wendy) Krisel, and Phil (Pennie) Krisel; and one sister-in-law, Mary Krisel. She is further survived by her mother-in-law, Dolores Jorgensen; one sister-in-law, Kerry (Jeff) Senn; three brothers-in-law, Keith (Toni) Jorgensen, Kevin (Kathie) Jorgensen, and Kraig (Lorraine) Jorgensen; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Wendy was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Tressa Jorgensen; a brother, Jack Krisel; her father-in-law, Allen Jorgensen; and a brother-in-law, Kris Jorgensen.

A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at a later date. Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville, is assisting with the arrangements. Please go to http://www.beil-didier.com to sign the online guestbook or to send a card to the family.
