Lewis, A. Roger

A. Roger Lewis of Waupaca, age 86, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022.

He was born in Antigo on October 25, 1935 to the late Art and Hazel (Bebeau) Lewis. Roger married the love of his life Lorraine Lipinski on March 20, 1954 and together they had four boys, Todd, Dan, Tony, and Scott. Roger worked at various jobs throughout his working career. He was 1/2 owner of Romic Chemical Corporation in Palo Alto, CA. In Wisconsin he worked as an equipment fabricator for Faulk’s Brothers Construction and Carew Concrete, where he retired from in 1997. Roger was very active in the Church of Christ in Waupaca. He served as an elder for more than 15 years until his wife Lorraine passed away. He was also very active in teaching bible classes in his home throughout the week. Along with his passion of serving God, he loved spending time with his family at the cabin and riding snowmobile, 4 wheelers, and motorcycle. He always had a smile on his face, especially when he was around his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his sons: Todd (Kathy) Lewis, Dan (Roxanne) Lewis, Tony (Cathy) Lewis, Scott (Jodi) Lewis; brothers: James (Bonnie) Lewis, Gerald (Florence) Lewis, Milton “Buddy” (Marion) Lewis; sisters: Elaine (Gary) Monnot, Rita Garrett and Dorothy Pascua; grandchildren: Kyle (Jamie), Heidi (Jesse Cuff) and Tyler (Courtney); Jason (Kalli), Korey, Branden (Joanna), Trinton (Michaela) and Camri; Ericka, Andrea (Mark Hansen); Orry (Stephanie), Keegan (Katie) and Brogen; great-grandchildren: Kylie and Jadyn Lewis; Tristan and Ethan Cuff; Logan, Olivia and Mya Lewis, Braeden, Maleah, Keera and Everleigh Lewis; Gregory, Joann and Lamour Lewis; Julia, Aelita, Avery, Juniper and Archer Lewis; Damian and Lily Johnson; Austin, Cyrus, Cayden and Marissa Hansen; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine; parents, Art and Hazel Lewis; brothers, Todd and Roy and sister, Marie.

The Funeral Service was held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 6 p.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home. The visitation was Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
