Waupaca County sheriff’s report March 13

• March 7 – A Waupaca county worker reported a county plow truck slid into a garage at a County Trunk A address. The garage was knocked off the foundation. A support crew was dispatched to help.

• March 7 – A New London caller reported that she rescued 10 kittens from a man who lives on Algoma St. She said that there are 20 more sick kittens in the home which was covered in feces and unlivable.

• March 7 – A woman sent a fax to the 911 center stating that her father was yelling at her and her mother hit her in the forehead over the weekend.

• March 7 – A Manawa caller reported he found two packages of suboxone (a drug for treating opiate addiction) on a ledge by the stove in the place he is renting.

• March 7 – A Waupaca caller on County Trunk QQ reported tire tracks running through his and his neighbor’s yard. A vehicle parked his driveway was damaged and it was spun around. A wheel and tire were left behind from the hit-and-run vehicle.

• March 8 – An Iola caller reported a black Dodge truck was tailgating him, passed him and drove into a ditch. The truck climbed out the ditch and the caller reporting the truck heading toward Iola on State Highway 49.

• March 8 – A Waupaca caller on the N2300 block of Old Highway 22 reported she was bitten by a friend’s dog.

• March 9 – A Manawa caller reported that a 20-year-old man left him on March 6 on foot heading in an unknown direction and has not been seen since. He is from another country and is mentally challenged.

• March 9 – A Marion caller reported that some steers got loose and one was in the ditch and the others were near a building.

• March 9 – A Manawa caller reported someone used her Social Security number and tried to file a claim to her Social Security. She blocked her Social Security account and now they were calling, texting and harassing her trying to get more personal info.

• March 9 – A Marion man called to report the mother of his children was driving without a license and had video to prove it.

• March 9 – 911 received a call about a male juvenile that locked his mother out of the house.

• March 9 – A Waupaca man on E3300 block of Shoemaker Road reported that an unknown man dropped off an envelope containing prescription pills.

• March 9- A Marion woman called about her daughter yelling at her and not listening to her. The daughter took off walking down the road, came back and left. The mother said this was an ongoing issue and didn’t know that to do.

• March 9 – A Waupaca woman on County Trunk K reported that she suspected her ex-boyfriend was outside her house. She said she could see flashlights in a nearby cemetery.

• March 9 – A Stevens Point man called asking for a welfare check on his children. His son called him and said his mother was drunk and trying to take his phone.

• March 10 – A Waupaca woman on Cleghorn Road reported that her husband heard something the night before and she woke up to find their house covered with eggs. She said it has happened before.

• March 10 – A Readfield woman reported her email was hacked and a message was sent to her customers telling them to cancel their checks and to wire the money to an account instead.

• March 10 – Two New London juveniles got into a fight. One wrapped a computer mouse cable round the other’s neck and tried to choke him. They were separated.

• March 10 – A Bear creek man called to say he doesn’t want his ex-girlfriend on his property.

• March 10 – A New London woman on the E7300 block of Stage Road reported that someone was shooting projectiles from the woods. One projectile hit the satellite dish on top of her house.

• March 11 – A New London woman reported that her house was egged. Her ex-boyfriend sent her a photo of egg on her house and also a shotgun, stating, “You do this cause I will shoot ,,.”

• March 12 – A Waupaca woman called to report her husband was missing. He had been drinking so she took his car keys. They argued and he left on foot. She called everyone she knew and had no idea where he might have gone.

• March 12— An Iola woman reported another woman was harassing her on Snapchat and Messenger. After this woman was blocked, the woman started messaging the caller’s fiancé, family and friends and tried to hack the caller’s social media accounts.

• March 12- A Clintonville caller from the N9900 block of Paape Rd. reported someone damaged her mailbox.

• March 12 – A New London caller reported her father drove off saying he was going to kill himself. He had seven mixed drinks that evening.

• March 13 – A Manawa caller from Sturm Lake Road reported two cows wandering near the road, far away from any obvious farm.

• March 13 – A New London woman reported there were people in her backyard that connects to some woods. She said she could not see them but believed her dog was barking at them. She said someone was knocking two pieces of wood together for the past hour and a half. She also said that something was pecking at her house.
