Waupaca County sheriff’s report April 4

• March 28 – A caller reported he is the manager of a local trailer park and one resident hoards cats. The resident was given a five-day notice to get rid of the cats. The resident stated he was going to release the cats in the trailer park and then it would be the manger’s problem and not his.

• March 28 – A caller from Schueller’s Great Exspechtations bar and grill reported a woman trying to hustle fake pull tabs.

• March 28 – A Manawa caller reported a man dancing in the middle of the road.

• March 28 – A New London caller reported a 70-year-old man who fell and needed assistance. The man was home alone and his doors were locked.

• March 29 – A Waupaca woman reported a man that she was with stated he was going to kill himself and he had been not acting right. He had been drinking.

• March 29 – A Waupaca woman called to report she suspected that a man she knew stole her debit card and was using it.

• March 30 – An Iola caller reported that dead calves where dumped on Nelson Road and Graham Lake Road.

• March 30 – A Waupaca man called to report he was moving out of his girlfriend’s house and she was throwing all of his stuff on the lawn.

• March 30 – A Waupaca man on Larson Road called to report ATVs were tearing up the ditch.

• March 30 – A New London caller who lives on North Water Street reported boats were speeding in a no-wake area. The river was flooding and the waves were pushing water into his garage.

• March 30 – A Waupaca woman on Shambeau Court called to report that someone was walking behind her house with a flashlight.

• March 31 – A Weyauwega man called to report his 1999 Dodge Ram truck was stolen.

• March 31 – A New London man called to report a woman he knew was forging his name and taking money from his accounts.

• March 31 – A Weyauwega man reported a minor was refusing to go back to his foster home. The minor was verbally aggressive and hitting himself with a plastic coat hanger.

• March 31 – The Dollar General in Embarrass reported a man stole a Bluetooth speaker and other items. He locked himself in the bathroom and when he came out, the items were gone. The staff found paper towels with blood on them and wrappers from sale items.

• April 1 – The Dollar General in Embarrass called to report a known person was in the store shoplifting again.

• April 2 – A Waupaca man called to report his girlfriend was kicked in the face at a local bar by a man. Two males and one female were involved. They left the bar after the incident.

• April 2 – A New London man on Market Street reported there was loud music coming from a house on Ferry Street and that he possibly heard a gunshot.

• April 2 – A woman called to report that a drunken woman told her husband that she took some pills and she would not be seeing him again. She left the house on foot wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and camouflage Capri pants.

• April 2 – A Weyauwega man called to report he thought a person may have been drugged. The person had his arms raised was saying odd things.

• April 2 – A caller reported that there is a fishing tournament near Red Banks and the boaters were not observing the no-wake rule.

• April 2 – A caller from the Dollar General in Marion reported she was locked out of her car and her 1-year-old child was inside the vehicle.

• April 3 – A Manawa woman reported that she suspected someone stole fuel from her vehicle the night before. Empty gas cans were left behind.

• April 3 – A Weyauwega woman on County Trunk reported a vehicle on fire. There was black smoke and flames and people were standing around with a garden hose.

• April 3 – A New London man on Market Street reported a rabid raccoon wandering the area.

• April 4 – A Manawa woman reported a person was high on heroin and was threatening her life.
