Jane Guerin, age 69 passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at her home.
She was born on July 24, 1952 to Lawrence (Charlie) and Doris Lutz. Jane was a graduate of Shiocton High School and married Michael “Chopper” Guerin on February 3, 1973. She worked at Tyson Foods in New London until she retired after over 40 years of service. Jane enjoyed sharing her welcoming smile and calm disposition with the many people she grew to cherish as her work family. She truly lived her life with the goal of making everyone around her happy. Jane loved weekend adventures with her husband, which included riding their motorcycle, going to the casino and enjoying breakfast at their favorite restaurant. She was the happiest when she could spend time with her daughters. She was always up for anything, as long as it was with them. Shopping, going out to eat, crafting, and just laughing, truly made her happy. Jane was one of those special people, which their presence made everyone feel safe and comforted.
Jane is survived by her husband, Michael “Chopper”; daughters, Julie Guerin and Melissa (Joshua Sr.) Johnson; grandchildren, Joshua Jr. and Jacob Johnson; sisters, Jean Lutz and Kathleen (Paul) Lemont; brothers-in-law: Jim Henry, Larry (Pat) Guerin, George (Susie) Guerin and John Guerin (special friend, Valerie); sisters-in-law: Jane (Lamar) Wilson, Peggy (Jerry) Guerin, Pam (Mike) Ritchie, Bonnie (Randy) Behnke, Nancy Gierach (special friend, Jeff) and Linda Alexander. Jane also had many nieces and nephews, who loved her very much, as well as special friends, including the Lawlis family and Laurie Thyssen-Morinelli. Jane was preceded in death by her parents; father and mother-in-law, Donald and Ilene Guerin; brother, Gary Lutz; sister, Barb Henry and sister-in-law, Judy Burns.
Jane’s kind heart and warm smile is what she would want us to remember her for. To celebrate her amazing life, a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at River Rail Banquet Hall (N5547 State Hwy 76) Shiocton from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.. Please bring your smile and help celebrate the AMAZING life of a special person. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Jane’s name.
