Waupaca girls face Clintonville

Two referees that didn’t show up turned a North Eastern Conference girls’ soccer game into a scrimmage.

Clintonville was scheduled to host Waupaca May 10, but the game was called off after two of the game’s three referees were missing.

Instead, the Truckers and Comets played a 45-minute scrimmage.

Both teams will host conference games Thursday, May 19. Clintonville will face Denmark at 4:30 p.m., while the Comets will host Freedom at 6:30 p.m.
