Derek Helsten scattered six hits over seven innings to get the win on the mound.

New London wrapped up the regular season May 24 by hosting Shawano and will open WIAA state tournament play Thursday, May 26 at Hatten Park.

The third-seeded Bulldogs will host No. 6 Oconto Falls at 3:30 p.m. The winner will then head to Seymour Tuesday, May 31, to face the second-seeded Thunder.
