Waupaca County sheriff’s report July 31

• July 26 – A Fremont woman on Jefferson St. reported being stalked by a man. Fremont police had warned the man in the past. She was advised to get a restraining order.

• July 26 – An unknown caller reported he was being harassed by his girlfriend. She was accusing him of cheating.
• July 26 – A male caller reported a man with a loaded gun threatening to shoot himself.

• July 26 – The Department of Health & Human Services requested a deputy at a residence with a history of methamphetamine use. There was a report that a woman came out of the house naked, vomited and fell down.

• July 26 – A cell phone caller reported a PT Cruiser fully engulfed in flame. The occupants were out the car.

• July 26 – A New London caller on Oshkosh Street reported he was talking to a man on Facebook Marketplace about buying a moped. The man told him it was stolen.

• July 26 – A Waupaca caller on Park View Way reported his estranged wife told him she took some pills.

• July 26 – A Clintonville caller reported a man wearing a grey tank top and pink shorts walking northbound in a lane of traffic near Len Ebert & Sons.

• July 26 – A Waupaca caller on Pine Lane reported a piece of siding missing from his house.

•July 26 – A cell phone caller reported a disabled gold four-door car with two women and one man and they appeared “tweaked out.”

• July 27 – Silvermist Garden Center in Waupaca reported being threatened by a person who hit one of their trailers the day before.

• July 27 – A Scandinavia caller on Mill Street reported his credit card was used in Pennsylvania. He canceled it and reported it to the credit card company.

• July 27 – A Weyauwega woman on Butternut Ridge Road reported that St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa was sending spirits to her encouraging her to go to that church. She doesn’t want to go to that church.

• July 27 – The Waupaca County Clerk of Courts reported an argumentative and disorderly man.

• July 27 – A caller in the town of Lebanon reported her son’s car was egged the night before. She suspected it was her son’s ex-girlfriend.

• July 27 – The sheriff’s department assisted the State Patrol in pursuit of a black Hyundai stolen from Green Bay.

• July 27 – Eastside Mobil Express in Waupaca reported a highly intoxicated man in the store wearing purple shirt and grey shorts. The employee was scared.

• July 28 – The Manawa Public Works department reported scrap metal and other items stolen. They had images of a vehicle and its license plates.

• July 28 – A female caller reported a young man asked her if he could give her a foot massage. When she refused, he asked if he could take a picture of her feet. This made her feel very uncomfortable.

• July 28 – A New London woman on Cut Off Road reported a red Pontiac Grand Am had been sitting in the same place for two days.

• July 28 – A Waupaca caller on Woodland Circle reported his Durrant-for-Sheriff sign was stolen from his lawn.

• July 28 – A Weyauwega caller reported there was a child at her residence. The child’s parents were outside fighting.

• July 28 – A Waupaca caller on Wisconsin Street reported the smell of someone possibly burning car tires.

• July 28 – A Clintonville woman on Walnut Road reported an out-of-control juvenile was screaming and trying to jump out of a window.

• July 28 – A Manawa caller reported there was an intoxicated man present and threatening everyone.

• July 29 – A Marion man on Cedar Dam Road reported someone tearing up the road and doing burnouts for the past 3-4 days. He requested extra patrol.

• July 29 – A New London caller on Buelow road reported a yellow plane flying within 20 feet of her home. It was going on for 20 minutes. She said the pilot was doing it purposely to harass her.

• July 29 – A Weyauwega man on Little River Road reported a low-flying yellow plane sprayed him, his children and his home with a chemical.

• July 29 – An Iola caller on Rustad Road reported that approximately six people were on his roof shooting at buzzards. No one had permission to be there.

• July 29 – A Clintonville woman on Country Trunk D reported her neighbor’s three dogs came onto her property and attacked her dog. This has happened before.

• July 29 – A caller reported her husband was receiving threatening calls from an unknown Oshkosh number. The person asked for “Ron” and they said they didn’t know of any “Ron.” The person threatened to kill them and their children.

• July 29 – A Weyauwega caller on Country Trunk U reported a person let go of a paper lantern and it floated into the woods. She was afraid it might start a forest fire.

• July 29 – A New London caller on Faskell Road requested an ambulance. He said he had been drinking all day and was looking to detox.

• July 29 – Kinney Lake Campground in Marion reported a woman who was passed out in a chair in front of the bar. The people that she was with left without her.

• July 30 – A Manawa caller on Euclid Avenue reported a man riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle tipped over the motorcycle six times in five minutes.

• July 30 – A town of Dayton woman on Camp Road requested the water patrol to visit Round Lake, calling it “a disaster.”

• July 30 – Wolf River Trips in New London reported three men were asked to leave. They would not leave and they were taking videos and photos of young girls near the “tube room.”

• July 30 – A female caller reported a young girl, about 10 years old with mid-length hair, appeared to be pushed into a white Chrysler with three men. She provided the license plate number.

• July 31 – Wolf River Campground in New London called to request deputies. Dispatch reported screaming and fighting in the background.

• July 31 – A Waupaca man on Country Trunk QQ reported that a woman kept locking him out of his own home. She was supposed to move out months ago but keeps returning. She also sends him vulgar messages.

• July 31 –An Almond caller on County Trunk D requested help for a woman who possibly took eight sleep aid pills.

• July 31 – A female caller reported numerous trucks with boat trailers parked illegally on Whispering Pines Road.

• July 31 – A Fremont caller on Wisconsin Street reported what appeared to be a bullet hole in an interior wall of his house.

• July 31- A Waupaca caller on Lindee Lane reported her female friend was scared and a male she was with was breaking her things.

• July 31 – A cell phone caller reported a man lying on a blanket next to the road. He was lying there for 10-15 minutes.

• During this period, the water patrol stopped 14 boats. There were numerous deer-auto collisions and many reports of controlled burns. A dead eagle was reported on State Highway 54. There were two reports of cows on the road, two reports of loose calves, one horse in the road, a loose pit bull in Fremont and a sandhill crane was found with a broken leg. There was a report of a Ford Fusion hitting a raccoon so violently that it left the vehicle undrivable. Also, a Fed Ex driver reported that a dog bit him.
