Bonita Kostrzak, age 79 of Ogdensburg, WI passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Bethany Home.
Bonita was born on May 20, 1943; daughter of the late Oliver and Elizabeth (Gunderson) Boutwell in Iola, WI. She married her love of her life, Ronald Kostrzak; he preceded her in death in November of 1972. Bonita received her bachelor’s degree in education and was a home economics teacher for many years. She also worked as a resident counselor at Wisconsin Veterans Home in King for over 25 years before retiring in 2000. Bonita enjoyed photography, but her passion was painting; she was an artist by nature.
Bonita is survived by her daughter, Krisann (fiancé Patrick Stroik) Dailey of Ogdensburg; brother, Stanley Boutwell of Ogdensburg; granddaughter, Amanda (fiancé John Gordon) Dailey of North Carolina; nieces and nephews, Julie (Mitch) Patri of Manawa; Erin (Shawn) Howe of Clintonville; Shaun (Tonya) Boutwell of Ogdensburg; Patrick Boutwell of Neenah, also many great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bonita is preceded in death by her parents, husband, twin children Kristen and Kevin, brother, Gordon Boutwell, sister-in-law, Linda Boutwell.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Little Wolf Cemetery in Manawa. Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
