Waupaca County sheriff’s report Sept. 18

• Sept. 12 – An Ogdensburg woman on Black Lake Road reported a power line down and a small fire in the woods.

• Sept. 12 – The Town of St. Lawrence reported the theft of a stop sign, including the post.

• Sept. 12 – A Waupaca caller on State Highway 22-54 reported his golf clubs were stolen.

• Sept. 12 – The New London School District reported an oncoming white car “flew through” the red stop lights of a stopped bus. The stop-sign arm was extended and a student was being dropped off.

• Sept. 13 – A Waupaca caller on Pine Lane reported she almost struck an man in his late 40s who was walking down the middle of the road and carrying a plastic grocery bag. He tried to flag her down.

• Sept. 13 – The Ramada Grand Seasons requested assistance. They fired an employee and she was refusing to leave.

• Sept. 13 – A Waupaca caller on County Trunk QQ reported that her neighbors came onto her property and cut her trees down.

• Sept. 13 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home in King reported two residents got into a fight and one slapped the other across the face.

• Sept. 13 – An Iola man on Water Street reported a female having a mental break down.

• Sept. 13 – A New London caller on Madden Road reported a man standing 15 feet up his driveway and looking at his house. The caller talked to him and the man said he was looking for his extended family and that he needed a ride. The caller suspected the man was on drugs.

• Sept. 13 – The Veterans Crisis Line reported they had a Waupaca County man on the line who was contemplating suicide.

• Sept. 14 – A New London woman on Kanaman Road reported someone damaged political signs on her property. It looked like someone ran over them with an ATV.

• Sept. 14 – A Clintonville caller on Second Street asked to press charges against a social worker for defamation of his character.

• Sept. 14 – The Waupaca County Aging and Disability Resource Center requested help with a man who was not answering the door for meal delivery service and not answering phone calls. His emergency contact numbers did not work.

• Sept. 14 – A Waupaca caller on Oakland Drive reported walking down the road and three men in a white van passed her multiple times.

• Sept. 14 – A Neenah caller reported his vehicle was broken into while kayaking. A purse, phone and wallet were taken.

• Sept. 14 – A Marion caller on State Highway 110 reported that he has not seen his son since mid-day. It was 9 p.m. The son was not responding to text messages and phone calls went straight to voicemail.

• Sept. 14 – At 11:30 p.m. an anonymous caller reported a woman who had been drinking since 4 p.m. The woman just left Marion in a silver Ford Explorer and was heading towards Clintonville.

• Sept. 14 – A New London caller on County Trunk T reported a man was knocking on her door, leaving and coming back to knock again. This continued for two hours.

• Sept. 15 – A Marion woman reported an ex-husband was harming her pregnant daughter.

• Sept. 15 – A woman on Patricia Street in King reported a man fighting with staff members.

• Sept. 15 – A female caller reported a suspicious woman wearing a bandana, a black top, shorts and no shoes. She was going though dumpsters, taking things out and smelling them.

• Sept. 15 – A Waupaca woman on County Trunk QQ reported a woman throwing rocks at windows.

• Sept. 16 – A male caller reported that he was at Pine Manor Health Care Center and was being kept against his will.

• Sept. 16 – An anonymous caller reported her friend had fentanyl pills.

• Sept. 16 – A Clintonville woman on County Trunk O reported a man showed up at the address and broke a vehicle window.

• Sept. 16 – A Waupaca caller on Brian Court reported a man was across the street from his house with a flashlight. The man does not own that property.

• Sept. 16 – A Redgranite caller reported that her ex sent a picture of a razor blade in his hand and stated that it will be too late when they find him.

• Sept. 16 – A Waupaca caller on Van Street reported that a woman parked in her driveway, excited the vehicle, walked into the neighbor’s yard into the bushes and fell down. The woman was swearing and yelling.

• Sept. 17 – A Marion man on Buckbee Road reported his ex-wife came to his house and smashed baby bottles. She left in a white Ford fusion with her child. She was drinking.

• Sept. 17 – An Oshkosh caller reported that a 43-inch flat-screen TV was stolen from his cottage.

• Sept. 17 – Tomorrow’s Children in Waupaca reported a runaway who took off 25 minutes earlier on a bicycle.

• Sept. 17 – A caller reported he arranged to have his car detailed but later canceled the appointment. The man called him and said, “I’m going to find you and kick the s— out of you.”

• Sept. 17 – A Weyauwega woman on Stecks Road reported an extremely intoxicated man who doesn’t speak English and doesn’t know where to go.
• Sept. 17 – An Appleton woman reported she was being physically assaulted at the Taylor Lake boat launch.

• Sept. 17 – A Weyauwega man on Behnke Road reported a fire alarm going off in the living room.

• Sept. 18 – The Village of Scandinavia reported the barricades for the closed bridge were knocked down. It happened last weekend as well.
• Sept. 18 – Casey Excavating in New London reported a fully loaded dump truck tipped over in the ditch. No injuries.

•Sept. 18 – A Waupaca caller on Woodland Circle reported verbal arguments and unannounced visited from her mother. Nothing physical. She just wanted this “on file.”

• Sept. 18 – A New London caller on Oakwood Lane reported he thought someone was trying to break into his house. It has been happening since February. Three to four times per week he finds broken window screens.

• Sept. 18 – A New London caller on Country Trunk W reported her husband was “acting all weird” after he came home from the Packer game. He was keeping her up all night and chasing her around the house.

• During this period, there were a high number deer-auto collisions and many reports of controlled burns. There were two dog bites and three reports of cows getting loose. There was one report of a sick raccoon and another of an injured goose. There was a noise complaint about barking dogs and two reports of dogs running loose or lost.
