It didn’t take long for West De Pere to come up with the game-winning goal in its Bay Conference boys’ soccer matchup with New London.

Hundamo Lovell’s goal nine seconds into the game gave the Phantoms an early lead and they went on to a 7-0 win over the Bulldogs Sept. 20 at Bulldog Stadium.

West De Pere found the net two more times later in the first half to take a 3-0 lead at the break.

The Phantoms added to their 4-0 lead with three more goals in the final six minutes of the game.

New London will host Green Bay East and Green Bay West Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 26-27, and wrap up its regular-season schedule Thursday, Sept. 29, with a nonconference game at Waupaca. All three games will start at 6:30 p.m.
